For full licence holders who have not driven in a while and want to rebuild confidence, whether that is motorways, city traffic, night driving or a general brush-up. There is no syllabus to work through: the first session establishes what you actually want out of it, and every lesson after that is built around exactly that.

Refresher Lessons, answered
Is there a minimum number of hours?+
No. Lessons are booked one hour at a time, at £40 an hour in a manual car and £43 in an automatic. If you settle into a routine we will point you at whichever block works out cheaper per hour.
Can I take Refresher in an automatic car?+
Yes — every course is available in both. Automatic lessons cost a little more per hour than manual. Refresher hours sit above learner rates because each session is planned around what you specifically want to rebuild. A manual licence lets you drive both manual and automatic cars afterwards, while an automatic licence covers automatic cars only.
Do I have to pay for everything upfront?+
Nothing is taken when you enquire. You pay your instructor directly, and they will set out their prices, payment terms and refund terms before you commit to anything. Instructors we work with have agreed not to take advance payment for more than 10 hours of tuition at a time, so you are never far out of pocket.
